I am still gathering my parts for a closet grow for use in a couple of months.
The only thing I have left to buy is an exhaust system.I have been looking
at Home Depot. and Lowe's , and it seems I can get a 6" ~550 CFM in-line
fan for about 40 bucks. However, these fans just have the little exposed wiring.
1.) is this fan about the right size for a 400w MH/HPS grow in a 2x8x8 closet?
2.) Anyone have a link for how SAFELY to wire these fans up to a cord w/ plug ?
They have cords at home depot with nothing but wiring on the end of them. Its only 3 wires. They are different colors. They match up exactly with the wires on the fan. Wrap it in electrical tape. Not that hard.
ya i got the 220 one its like 30 bucks. in terms of wiring i always use spare computer(or monator) power supply cords. they work great are are well insulated.
Hey you said you got that inline at Lowes/Home Depot? Do you remember the brand/the actual title? Ive looked and asked for 'inline fans' - explaining Im looking to boost my duct work an they look at me like
