if you rub your fingers on the leaves near the buds you get a fruity / berry smell from them. they don't seem to stink the room up though. i will be growing this plant for a long time though definately

When should i harvest my plant? Ive had it growing for about 8 months now and i want to harvest it. Im just looking for some advise as to how to cut the buds off and if its ready. There are a few white hairs still left on the buds but a good majority, i would say about 95% have turned orange. The first hair that ive seen turn orange was about 3-4 weeks ago. Is it time yet? Its been flowering for about 2 1/2 3 months.

if u havent noticed, this IS his thread. if majority of the hairs on your plant are about 95% brown, i would harvest them..but thas jus me.

all most all strains that I have seen are done when almost all the hairs are red/brown but you really should check the trichomes with a magnifying glass/microscope to be sure.

edit: I just got my hands on some white berry clones. They look like great plants. Stinking up my veg room so Im sure they will really stink in flowering

I apologize for that mistake not recognizing it was your thread. I saw the pictures above and got mixed up.

I'm also a bit concerned because you started this thread on the 15th and said it had been 2 1/2 weeks flowering, now 4 weeks later you're saying it's been 2 1/2 - 3 months. That just doesn't make any sense, so I guess I'm lost.

You posted so many pics early on, where are some updated pics so we can help you make the determination as to it's maturity and so we can look at some bud porn?

It really hasn't been too bad of a scent and my plant is about 3 1/2' to 4' tall and really bushy and it hasn't been too bad. Thanks for the advice guys. Cant wait to dry, cure, and smoke this. Ill let ya know how everything turns out and ill be sure to take some more photos.
