ok couple of questions.

I germinated seed and they just pop-ed up out of the soil today. How long do i have to wait till i can put them under my 400w hps? how far away should the light be and for how long? (till i put it about 1 to 1 1/2 feet away) I understand how to use a mostire meter but whats everyones experience when they just came up. water once a day? once every other day? just ball park it for me. Thanks

When I was using a 400 watt system I put mine under it right away just raised it about 4 feet.

Lowered after a few weeks. You can tell by how your plants respond.

About a foot away with proper setup and veg at 18/6.

Watering depends on soil type and container size. Use your moisture meter.

somewhere in the moist range, never in the wet range for me. I water when the meter says around 1-2.

ok cool. thats what mine has been saying. if i have 3.5 feet of actual growing height, how tall should they veg before i switch them over. just a ballpark would be good. thanks.
