My point exactly. Growing fro mseed then takign a cloen fro mthat seed doesnt benefit you all that much. You actually lose alot of your size by far.. you only gain what clones normally have to offer over seedlings..

as far as growing inside the cub.. what if roots exceed cup space and grow (overflow) the top of the cup?

I want to start from clone because I don't deal with seeds. I live in Ca. and I'm a medical card carrier. I can go buy clones, can't go buy seeds. I never have to deal with males or seed banks. No unknown strains, no 80% male crops, none of that mess.

If I were to take part in this competition I'm certainly not going to revert to doing it some lame ass method because you guys think it is more interesting.

There's no competition if you don't have the freedom to do whatever is necessary to maximize your usage of the cup. Pretty soon you'll say it has to all be Organic ferts...particular strain...etc. It's just ridiculous to tie ppl's hands in the fashion.

im germing 5 sour diesel right now im gonna put two in hempy pots and 3 in my aero system assuming they all germ. im starting in 16oz cups but will put into bigger if necessary for maximum yield
