Default Nitrogen def. in 12/12
I've got yellowing, spots and purple stems developing in my three ladies. I'm pretty sure it's a N def.

What's the best way to give them a nitrogen boost without burning them? Foliar feed them, or feed through roots?

any cupping leaves?? if so i'd foliar feed with nitrogen-enriched magnesium sulphate (epsom salt) and see if that doesn't clear it up.

Ive actually encountered a nitrogen deficiency on all of my grows-

Im like 6 weeks into flowering right now and I had some MAJOR yellowing-every single leaf!!!

this is what I did- it may sound tough- so beware!!

add a tablespoon of your VEG nutrients- haha, stupid, yet so easy... lol

Every leaf on my plant went back to a beautiful green- no bullshit...

forget going and spending more money if u already have the answer in your closet...

its gonna take a week- at least...

just keep using your regular bloom nutes as you normally would, just add some grow nutes to it..

My plant seemed stunted until I did this- as soon as it started taking them in it started to blow up again- and turning the leaves back to green!!!

I was honestly very suprised to see that they went back to a bright green- I was very pleased seeing this, as I could not pinpoint my def.-

I thought it was an -N- def. some thought it was a potassium def.

so how did I clear it all at once??? some Peters Jacks Classic 20-20-20

5 bucks at the greenhouse too easy- all u gotta do is just do it

Good Advise!!! I agree with GraF....Jacks Classic is my preferred fertilizer....

I have found Jacks to be most effective in adjusting nutrient deficiencies either with foliar feeding (in veg) or standard root feeding in soil.
For some plants in flowering I will mix 1/2 tsp of Bloom and 1/2 tsp of 20-20-20 in a gal of water and alternate with straight Bloom feedings.

Actually if you're pretty far into flowering, yellow leaves with spots may be nothing to worry about. Especially 6 weeks into flowering, you're almost done and ready to harvest. The plant knows it's going to die soon, so that's what it starts to do. Adding high N nutes might not do anything, except waste your nutes and make your weed taste like fertilizer.

If you're early in flowering, then yes you need to fix the N deficiency. But if you're close to harvest, don't worry about it.

pseodonym-

Thats exactly why I stressed the fact that my plants growth was basically stunted until I fixed the deficiency- I was six into flowering and my shit halted-

I started heavy feeding with more veg. nutes and my plant blew up... new hairs everywhere- new callyxes- and new "bud leaves"

So now that Ive figured this out- I think that it is a little misleading when people say not to worry about it- follow it or not, its up to the grower- but why not fix the issue??

and a good way to avoid the fertilizer taste is flushing- just so you know
