Question Growroom help PLEASE
Well folks my stuffs finally ere to start my grow.Ive got a grow tank 604 setup under 600w grolux dual spectrum hps lamps, ive bought EC metres and all sorts of other stuff and ive set a room up which is good for one grow eg good ventilation, reflective material covering all surfaces and light proofed. Now as ive said this setup is perfect for my needs, but only for one grow at a time, whereas i want to be continuous.Well i,ve got the room for a veg room and the £,s for an extra light (would 250w be enuff jus for veg) but i dont have the money for another grow tank,is there anyway i can grow without a grow tank until ready for flowering e.g feeding myself (im growing in rockwool cubes) or am i stuffed. PS if i can help it,i dont really wanna be making a new nft tank either,i was jus thinking of putting the cubes in a large fish tank and watering/feeding then putting in my nft, maybe vegging for a few days then straight to flower, wot u guys think? Thanks for any help and info i may get and good luck to all who keep it green.

You could get a couple of large plastic trays just to keep the plants in

Leave the wrapper on the rockwool cubes and use something to cover the open surface at the top to stop algae setting in.

Space your plants out in the tray and feed them by having a bucket of feed near by and dunking the bottom third so it soaks the water upto the top, you want the rockwool cubes to be damp not soaked.

250w could be enough to veg the number of plants your looking to do what kind of light did you have in mind

a 600w hps watch out for hot spots if you've got a lot of reflective material. and a 250w would be enough for veg. if you.ve got sativas or sativa dominant cross plants then just a week veg then start the 12/12 light cycle. way to go man!!! best of luck

could be. THere are 2 reasons for the glass shield. One would be to protect the light from getting sprayed when you mist your plants. The other is to cover it for installing air cooling for the light. If heat is an issue for you then you might want the shield to enclose the light making it easier to vent. VV
