My question is has anyone used agri-cool it is a system of using water

to cool your lights ,

Or does anyone vent through the hood , I see you can buy a reflector ( hood ) with hook-ups for just that.

The reason being is that I'm looking for the best way that works for me to vent the heat.

No I haven't used one but it should be one of the best. Probably the most expensive as well. Air cooling with flexible exhaust and an in line fan work good also. VV

All depends on how much you want to invest.The water cooled tubes cost more at startup but dont require exspensive fans that us electricity to keep running so in the long run end up costing less.Both work well.I have foound I need neither as my light dont really heatup much running 3 or 4 400 watt hps lights only increase room temps maybe 10 degrees

WoW dude, you sure are one lucky SOB. I realize that you and I are both using co2, and I have no idea where you live, but my little 430 watt light, heats my room up about 10 degrees an hour without ventilation.

I still havent perfected my ventilation yet, but I'm fairly close. I have one 500cfm and one 250 cfm fan exhausting my room, I also have two 80cfm pc fans cooling my light too. The 500cfm fan is probably really only pulling around 400cfm, as I've installed a couple of reducers on it. Its an 8" inline fan that I reduced down to 4".

My aim is to be able to get my grow room as close to ambient temp as possible, this way, when I turn on my co2, I can use it longer. As I said, with my exhaust fans off, my temps rise 10 degrees an hour, that gives me, about two, decent hours of making good use of the co2 I injected into the room.

Of course, when I am not using the co2, my exhaust keeps the room at a reasonable temp, hot days can tax the system though. I want to install two more intakes soon though, grabbing some colder air from my garage, which is mostly underground, so its always cool in there.

Hi All,

I bought the radio Shack microscope today but they don't carry the 30X one anymore so I had to get the 60X. Its too strong to be useful. I was looking for the color red in the little white hairs (pistils?) that are supposed to indicate maturity. The scope was no help & I have to go out of town for a couple of days (got someone to watch & water). I don't think they are ready for harvest but I'd like another opinion.
My plant in the AG is 66 days old. It has been flowering for about 30 days.
Can anyone tell mne how much longer I should flower before I harvest?

a good formula is about 60 days of flowering, and all ur pistols are still bright white so u got a while, once the majority of them are a light brown ur usually good to go, if you get a microscope (the best way to tell) though you want half the trichromes to be milky and halg amber colored, then you know for sure its ready, and then for more thc u can cure it for a few weeks, theres curing faqs in the growfaq
