Hello all

I posted a similiar thread in the newbie forum. I just joined this site tonight and have started my research. I want to build a grow room in a 3 car garage. My idea was to have a room 10x10. From what I have read I need ventilation, temp control, lighting so on and so fourth. I planed on using a passive ventilation system. For cooling I planed on using a window a/c unit. I would like to yield about an average of a pound a month. There are so many different ways to go about building this room that I am not sure what questions to ask as of yet. I am sure I will come up with some as I do more research. So what is the point of this thread... Well I was hoping to use it as a think tank of sorts. I have set a budget of $1000 for building supplies to build the room. I have about $3000-$4000 budget for lighting ventilation and so fourth.

If you dont mind tell me what your room would consist of. What problems I may come across. Hopefully this ends up being fun for everyone.

Thanks for the link and tip. My first idea was to grow in soil. I will have to do some more reading/thinking.

i i grow in coco peat & hand water,8 plants under 1200w of full spectrum lamps,strain called vedic,no smell or very little,good smoke,good yield,its a winner
