Default Magnifying Lenses To increase yeild
I was doing some thinking lately and couldn't find any research on the subject of using bigger magnifying lenses or screens to increase the focus point of a light.

I know the calculations behind light interactions and lenses, but have never seen or heard the principles being applied to increase light, to increase yield.

Say if you had a 1' tall plant (from the ground respectively), a strong lens above that, and a good light above those, say at 2', Could you place the lens(es) in a position to help focus the light, increasing photosynthesis ect...

Let me know. It may be time for some new experiments.

i have often thought of that while checking out the plants under the lights, i guess it would in low light situations but you have to remember that there are always "speed limits" when it comes to how much light a part of a plant can process, on the same note i have had some amazing gains by angling reflective material on the sides of the room, think of it as sort of like a fun house mirror shape to the walls, i usually use some white poster board that you shape like this ) but with the top of the board a little farther out than the bottom so that instead of your walls bouncing light strait off it focuses light all together on to more of a compressed focal point... if that makes any sense at all

I'm an avid solar puffer, so i understand how easy it is to burn you plants with the sun, but maybe with some 400w over a projection lens or magnifying lens? Thinking about setting something up now. Will post here if i do, and start a new thread
