Didn't go through all 14 pages, so this is just meant to offer my experiences for ref as have used bmb for a while & prev used bb/od for a while... clearly both have marketing behind them, but one appears more concerned w maximizing profits... you can judge for yourself on which is which (beyond this thread).
have to say, like the bmb better. it's easier to use & a lot less applied (.5-1ml/gal = 60-120ppms). start at week 3, can wait til wk4, you can really see the difference. part of this is that i run my room hot & the structure is def denser/bigger w the bmb... may be diff in your room...? doesn't lower the pH but buffers it around 6.0-6.1... this would dep a lot on your local water/nutes used. very solid, easy & w tangible results. imho, better performance in the end.
just my take, just to balance against all the others... 14 pages!!! short attention span... peace!

Learning How To Roll
Learning How To Roll
Used bloombastic last grow, over did it.plants still did ok,using botanicare and lowered it to half strength and bloombastic at 1.2 per gallon.holly shit this stuff works.plats look about five weeks into flower at three.costs a shitload but you dont need much and i definetly noticed a change, but gona go real slow this time, not much crystal change but flower size and speed of wich they growing are noticable.but i do wana say this stuff is pricey and if you don't have a proper set up i dont think it would really help.Enviroment is way more important than high priced food.Doesnt make much difference what you feed them if they cant uptake it.if you get it be careful and you will like it.good luck all

Overdrive reinvigorates flowering and creates a renewed burst of resins, scents, terpenoids, size and other very desirable traits that will give you impressive harvests instead of disappointing ones.
You know what? It wasnít easy to create this late-season plant growth miracle formula. Our scientists spent several years examining plant tissue samples and running experiments on the kinds of plants you grow. They also examined the internal clocks that run a plantís life cycle.
They discovered a never-before-used combination of vitamins, organic materials, nutrients and other ingredients that make Overdrive a powerhouse harvest-boosting formula used by thousands of growers worldwide.
For example, Overdrive contains special forms of folic acid that work on a genetic level to reprogram blooming plants so they produce larger flowers late in bloom phase.
Overdrive also contains plant-friendly forms of Vitamin C. These special vitamins increase photosynthesis efficiency and makes plants better able to deal with heat, high intensity lighting and stress.
All of Overdriveís ingredients are matched so they work together to give your plants exactly what they need for late-season bloom building.
See Flower Size Increase Right Away
Now that you know how it works, Iím sure youíll be eager to apply Overdrive formula during the last four weeks of bloom phase, and watch amazing things happen in your garden. Cells repair themselves faster and increase their metabolism. Flower growth is ramped up. Roots take in more nutrients. Plants better resist disease and stress. The buds swell up before your very eyes when you use Overdrive.
Unlike many other bloom phase additives made by competitors, Overdrive does not rely on typical potassium-phosphorus augmentation. Instead, itís a complete, unique feeding of ideal nutrients, vitamins and other substances that cause plants to redouble their flower production late in bloom phase.
Better yet, Overdrive is precision-engineered so itís easy to use and safe to use. You will find that it mixes well and is taken in quickly by plants in any type of hydroponics system. Itís powerful and fast-acting.
And this is what the Atami Bloombastic site says:
The Bloombastic formula contains biological minerals in combination with biological stimulants to create a one of a kind nutrient additive specifically designed for the flowering and ripening of your plants. The unique combination of elements in Blombastic will trigger explosive sugar and bloom production that will ensure a soft, sweet flavor of the bloom in addition to large compact buds.
Bloombastic will also stimulate the enzyme process on several levels that will make your plant less sensitive to stress factors such as: warmth, dry air, high light intensity, disease, and nutrient inadequacies.
This flowering innovation does not contain any ballast ingredients such as sodium and chlorine.
Compared to other cocktails, Bloombastic contains at least 50% more phosphorus and potassium.
Directions for use:
Bloombastic should be used in the final 4 to 6 weeks of the bloom and ripening stage of plant growth.
Okay, so when I read both of these, they seem like similar products, but I'm not as wowed by the Atami product.
Advanced Nutrients Overdrive sounds amazing. It sounds like it has a lot of vitamins and minerals that are happy for the plants.
Looks like you use em about the same.
Huh. Interesting side by side comparison.
I've used the Overdrive before - good stuff. Definite improvement in that grow, I have to say.

Just thought Id add to this disscussion...... Im using Botanicare. pk 13/14 and Humbolts additives, and harvesting 2lbs per 1k. Its all about environment!!! my environmnet is dialed. i actually prefer to adjust my own PH due to the fact plants feed on magnesium, nitrogen, etc. at different PH's. just a thought. HOWEVER I MUST AGREE WITH ANYBODY who beleives all this advanced nutrients are just expensive nonsense! They do the same thing any other nutrient does. dont be fooled! plants all eat and need the same vitamins. they all just have different labels on them. ITS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU USE THEM.
