wheres the best place to buy warm white cfl's? A department store would be best. But I see Mainly cool ones. Would like at least 40 watts.

Ok. so I found I'm not goin to be gettin out of this really cheap w/ picking up a four pack of 23 watt cfl's from the department store. I don't want to hook up that many bulbs and I don't think I can find the warm bulbs. Plus you really need the higher wattage to get bigger yield.
I found a site w/ 55 w 2700 k, e 26 base spirals for 45 bucks for 2 including shipping. 7,200 lumens. This added with Two 4 ft. 40w x 4 bulb t12 cool white shop lights for another 20 bucks max each. and 12,000 lumens. 19,200 low heat lumens for 85 bucks and 270 watts. I might have to run this till a few weeks into flower. but would finish with 2 more 55w warm spirals and a total of 26,400 lumens 12,000 cool white and 14,400 warm. Totaling 380 watts and 130 bucks.

Would this be about the best possible low cost/budget/ minium way to go?

1. 50-60 bones max. buy shop lights and start plants in 2 liter bottles plus 10-15 bones included for medium and ferts. Department store stuff. Plus chain and white poster board, and yeast for co2 gen. Find a fans around your house for free.(12,00 lumens run for 1 mo.)

2. Then 55$ bones one month later to buy the 55w warm cfl's, bigger planters, and flower ferts. (19,200 lumens for first 3-4 wks of flower.)

3. Finally. 45 more dollars to add 2 more 55w warms after 3 weeks to a mo. of flower. (ending w/26,400 lumens) and 150-160 dollars Out of pocket. but over 3 months. kinda like rent to own. lol. I'm ghetto.

Thats how this grow was started... on the fly with eight seeds in jiffy cubes under some home borrowed fluorescents....
Once you see those babies grow at the rate they do, you won't wanna stop buying the best shit for them. You kinda get into this nurturing mode. .... Talk about keeping your mind occupied. If you like cannabis A WHOLE LOT, to say the least, I don't think you'll mind spending an extra $100 a month instead of $55-45/m (you WILL happily spend more $$)and all of your free time spent thinking about your setup and how you can improve it overall...

Here they are at 32 days son! (one female for sure)

You know what i'd say? Like this setup, I'd say go with two 125 watters. One warm 2700k, one daylight 6500k and either get a whole other extra 125W daylight/warm (corresponding to the growth stage) OR supplement the two 125's with 26 watt warms/daylights (Again, corresponding to each growth stage).

The setup you see ^^up here^^ is obviously in the veg stage and it has:
1 - 125W Daylight 6500k
1 - 125W Warm 2700k
4 - 26W Daylight 6100k

Top of canopy/highest foliage is always 10" or closer(usually A LOT closer.. maybe 4-5" - under frequent supervision) to the two main bulbs above.

And during flowering just add a whole 125W Warm 2700k hung vertically inside canopy.

So just for clarity, the light set-up during the flowering stage is as follows:
1 - 125W Daylight 6500k
2 - 125W Warm 2700k
2 - 26W Daylight 6100k
2 - 26W Warm 2700k

Have fun bro!
