Default How to wire a flouro. strip light with a plug??
I have a fluorescent strip light and I cut the female end off of an outdoor extension cord (3 prong with ground). Is there a diagram out there to show me how to wire this light to plug into a regular wall outlet?. What I tried didn't work..lol..

I tried that once, the issue is making a good connection between the two, use wire-nutes that look like this and you won't go wrong:

Oh and Home Depot sells them, or you can get them online. Just match the colored wires and your set, I used these for a 400w HPS I rigged and they never failed.
