had the same shit happen to me. i had about 1 years worth of trimmings in a freezer in the basement. (small grows) but some of it was small buds i didn't feel like trimming. i bet there was about 5 wall mart bags packed full. went to make some butter and the wife decided to clean the empty fridge, and threw it all out.
