Yeah guess that would save me some $, but imagie the UV matal hallide would put out, and HPS also has the same warning...It would be like a controled detonation of an Abomb in my grow room, if it actually works my guess it will either fry the plants or it will create a monster!

Im pretty sure the bulbs are pressurized, no? if you break the glass i dont think it'll work

If you realy want some UVB on your plants, go to any reptile store/website and ask for a UVB globe. but personally I think its BS.

You're not grasping the whole concept

Lets focus on the UVB situation.. which has been proved by man other sources, i know this for a fact.
