Im seriously thinking of buying a greenhouse cd-6 co2 generator. I have an 8x8x8 room.

Anyone out there use one?

In my opinion I think CO2 supplementation is one of the areas of growing that you shouldn't spend much money on because the air naturally has the amount of CO2 needed to sustain proper growing. I supplement CO2 with the yeast method and it works great, if you do that it would give you the opportunity to spend your money on more necessary growing items. But if you wanna buy one go for it and tell me how it works..

I would recommend adding CO2, since fresh air only has 300 ppm and marijuana likes 1500 to 1800 ppm. I currently use a cd-6 for the first time in my 8x8 room, last time I used a cd-12 and it worked great but with both burners it got hot quicker and for longer in the room. I will keep you posted on how cd-6 does.

Not much difference between a co2 generator & a standard ng or lpg fired water heater in my book,same design principal only a generator does not burn as clean.

Well you can use anything, I was just using what I use as an example. I also use just straight CO2 with a regulator, works great too....You just need to pump the room with more than what the fresh air is giving you. Is it worth the extra money, that all depends on how big your garden and if your doing it for profit or personal.
