Default 1st serious grow, battling bugs, yellow leaves, and brown spots
First serious indoor grow, using plain organic soil mixed with Bio Terra plus, perlite, vermiculite, worm castings, bat guano, and chicken manure. Fertilizing with BioCanna BioVega, Rhizotonic, and BMO Super Plant Tonic so far. I'm a bit concerned about the baby leaves turning yellow on the Power Skunk and Himalaya Gold, and the brown spots on my Blue Cheese...anyone know the cause? Cure? I've also got some sort of gnats in the soil, I've killed at least 30 with apple cider and have squished at least as many, but it's taking forever to get rid of all of them.

How old are these seedlings? They look pretty healthy from the pics aside from that yellowing. What is your pH like? It could be related to a pH imbalance. Regarding your nutrients, you should only be feeding them with plain water and possibly a hormone treatment, such as SuperThrive, for the first 3 weeks of their life. Young seedlings get all the nutrition they need from the compounds in the soil, and additional nutrients will only stress them and possibly lead to nutrient burn.

It also sounds like you've got fungus gnats. They buzz around your plants and lay their shitty little eggs in your soil. They don't usually eat your leaves too much, but they feed on the proteins and other elements in your soil and your roots. Obviously, you want to get rid of them fast. I recommend a product called GoGNATS!. It's non-toxic and won't harm you or your plants, and it works very well.

Finally, if you haven't done so already, you may want to consider starting a grow journal here on this site. That way, you've got one central place to post your updated photos as time passes, and to get help and feedback on your grow.

Well, some are 3 weeks/4 days, some are 2 weeks/3 days, and one is 2 weeks/2 days...they are actually labeled in small print in the bottom left of the pics...The Whiteberry is just huuuge. So the yellowing lower leaves are over fertilization? I have no idea what my ph is, haven't checked...what about the brown spots on the Blue Cheese?

Another good gnat treatment is called gnatrol kinda spendy but vey effective. Also keep the light just higher than you think is good, this will keep stress to a min. 1/3 strength nutes help the young also.
