Doesn't this lil' girl look pretty damn dark? Is this ok or what needs to be done to resolve this if it's an issue?

Ya chill out the darker the better. You should be happy, your plant looks healthy. You don't need to change anything just make sure you listen to your plant and it will grow fine.
