hi... just bought a new cfl and put it 6inch above my seedlings went back 2 check few hrs later and it nearly burnt them 2 crisp the bottom leaves are still alive will they still survive or not? thanx

what kinda of cfl's there are cool running and hot running cfls

its an envirolite 125w 6400k blue spectrum daylight. dunno if it hot or cool but u can touch bulb. will my plants still survive if bottom leaves are alive and strongish stem,

its alow working temp with high lumen output thats wat it says on box

honestly in my opinion if its a cool light and you had it a few inches away I don't understand how it burnt them in just a few hours. All you can do is let time tell you if they are gonna survive or not. If the top part is completely dead you may want to clip that part away .
