if I had 2 24 inch wide X 48 inch long X6 inch deep flood tables side by side, to fit in a 4x4 area, what size Gallons per hour pump would be sufficient for a ebb n flow system?

just a small submersible pump would work.. anywhere from 60-120 GPH

Depends how many plants, a smaller pump will work fine, but if you get a larger utility pump (800+ GPH) and a fan controller, then you can have a pump that works from 1-800GPH and you can adjust feedings much easier.
