Hey i have two sprouts right now one is a few days ahead of the other. I noticed that they are getting tall, i just threw one away because it couldnt support its own wieght. Bent at the stem and always was laying on the ground. They are about 5 inches tall and 10 days old, i am new to growing and trying to do it right. I have seen plants 14 days old and they had alot more leaves, and stems. What im i doing wrong ????????????????

probably not giving them enough light, and a fan blowing on them gently rocking the stem would stiffen it up.

FIRST GROW BAGSEED

They are stretching because your lighting is insufficient. What sort of lights are you using, HPS/MH or Floros? If you are using florescent lights, tubes or CFLs, you want to move them down so they are about 2"-3" from the tops of your seedlings. If you are using a HID system, you have to be more careful because of the risk of burning your seedlings. About 16"-24" from the tops is usually OK with a HID system, but you gotta keep an eye on them to make sure you don't burn them.

I have two 4ft florecent one is a cool white and other is a plant light witch i was told is warm white. I was told to keep them 12 inches away for the first two weeks then drop them to 4 inches. Every one is right they are reaching so im just going to keep my lights 4 inches tell they are ready to clone. Hows the leaves looking??? i have seen other plants at this age that look more well developed more leaves and more full. Its been two weeks. I might just be inpatient but i want my babys to grow big :C)

When I start seedlings I leave space at the top to add dirt up to cotyledons (1st round leaves).. I'd really suggest you bump up to 2 X 26w CFL's on a Y splitter, and place plant in middle of Y..that cuts way down on Sir Stretch a Lots.. Try to pile up dirt (no rot worries), or support till it's a bit stronger..it may fix itself, but you'll probably end up repotting.... Get a fan blowing to strengthen stems...Luck.

You're in a better spot though..plant them now in soil up to leaves.. then ^^^^

bury them in soil up to the first set of leaves and keep the light low.

Well i got a pot and put a little orcid pellets on the bottom maybe a inch or a half a inch then my 4x4 cube then filled it to the top of the pot with orcid pellets. since then i have bought and hooked up a 600wat mh bulb and got one cfl ? i think hahaha plus my cool white and natural sunlight 6ft florecnets. but now my temps between 79 - 84, my humidity is now 40. I got new nutriants to check it out. Well i noticed a little change in the leaves as soon as i turned on the mh bulb. I was wondering since i barried my sprouts up to the leaves and now the cubes are at the bottom of the pot so when the roots grow i will have to change it right. Any helpfull hints im all ears.
