to be honest with you that pick is of my SD mama so that plant will never get flipped or not for a long time anyway, but i showed you so you can see what it looks like, yes all matter from any branch all the way up to the tops, lollipopping done in veg is solely for bushing and letting light penetrate the center of the plant, lollipopping just before flower and mid flower will allow your main colas and side tops to be as large as they can be. so for me i just lollipopped a batch that went to flower last nite, they were in veg for a week I cut off all lower fan leaves and side branches, I will have to re lollipop mid flower as new shoots will appear over the next few weeks as the plants still veg the first week of flower. for your plant tho, yes cut all that matter out now so that the plant will be able to redirect that energy to the tops. you just flipped the lights right? within a week or so?

yes it has been 8 days since i flipped into flowering, the question i have, or rather statement, is that leaving the fan leaves is not a bad idea, as to the lower fan leaves will provide back up nutrition for the plants. i think i will do the lollipopping yet leave the fan leaves that don't get in the way of light, but then again it shouldn't because the tops don't have buig fan leaves, i will take pics and see if what i did was adequate

um, i dont see where it could hurt, meaning i dont think the amount of energy being used by the fan leaves would subtract from the buds to badly, also those fan leaves will die off during the course of the flowering anyway.

Flowering week 3, day 17

Things are looking ok, i had to get rid of my monster beast of a MJ plant. It was growing way too wildly, too tall, i had to keep chopping it in order for it not to hit the light (12' ceilings). I was well into week two when i had to chop it once more and realized the difference in budding sites of the smaller one and the beast. I was cutting the beast so much that it stopped slowed down flowering, i didn't even see any nodes with any signs of budding. So i had to chop it down and take it out.

So i now only have one white widow plant. It is growing quite well. I did some clipping of the leaves and lower branches in the first week of flowering, there has been some slow down/delay of budding yet this plant still shows promise, i will no longer do any major pruning during flowering of any crops.

below are pictures, the AN Bloom products i am using seem to be working excellent, i just did a water change yesterday and im not pushing 1800ppm. enjoy the porn

Flowering
Week 6 day 35

Things are looking ok, not too shaby for my second grow. I found out the ppm white widow should be using, i was going way above that for about 2-3 weeks. The max ppm should have been 1200-1300, i was pushing 1800. So now im back down to 1100-1200.

The sour disel mother plant i put into flowering is looking awesome, its like every day it gets bigger, and it is in soil. I am using C02 boost, an organic c02 supplement, it seems to work well. My next grow will be pure aero so that i don't have to use this big'ol air pump i have, i may be using a smaller one in the aero res.

Flowering
Week 6 day 40

Well, based upon what my roots looked like a week ago, they are looking much better. I have new root growth, it seems as the overnut'n i was doing (1800 ppm when it was supposed to be 1000-1200 ppm) cause algea or bacter growth, looked more like algea. So now my roots are gaining their rightful color back. I'LL NEVER GROW WITHOUT A PPM METER AGAIN!

I went to the store the other day to buy a gardening hose and a hand held sprayer thing that goes on the end so that you can change the way the water comes out (cone-mist-shower-soak-center-jet) I hooked the gardening hose up to my shower pipe with a pipe converter so that i can wash off my roots. first i tested the temp of the water because i didn't want to shock the plants, so i got the water to be around the same temp the res water was before i emptied it out. I gave the roots a good washing to get off all the buildup and gunk that was on them. My roots look so much beter now, they are actually floating around in the water now rather than sticking to each other1

So as of now everything is well, the soil sour disel plants looks amazing, im a big fan of resin, so i got some Purple Maxx to produce extra oils, so far i see no burning, i've been using if for the past week. I guess you are supposed to use it 4 consecutive waterings, i have one more watering with it. I will also be using some gravity during the last few weeks hopefully on both hydro and soil, but def soil.
