I think you can just turn the plants a little in the Stinkbud system. You can also bend them quite a bit without hurting them. On another note, I decided to pull the plug on the clones life support this morning; they are done like dinner. I'm through messing with them.

i use a humidifier for when i do clones, the humidity stays between 75-98% Humid, you've got to make sure that humidity is high or else your clones will limp over like an old man's sex performance

LOL, I dont' know what the humidity was in the cab but it was very high. I tried keeping them sprayed but Stinkbud doesn't even do that. I just yanked them and three looked like they might be possibly viable yet. One was in a peat pellet and was still perky; the other two were just dangling in the aero unit and were still reasonably perky. I trimmed off the two bottom branches and trimmed off half of the next one up, still leaving the top untouched. I put more RooTech on the bottoms of the stems and plugged them in peat pellets and all three went back under the light - sans the aero unit; I cleaned it up and packed it up. I have successfully found yet another way I can not grow clones. I'll get it figured out eventually; maybe go back to really old school cloning 101 with rock wool or rapid rooters and clone dome.

noooooo, im telling you man, if you're using Flo's for your cloning and using that aero mister with a on/off settinf of 15/15 along with dip-n-grow, rhizotonic and RO/FILTERED/DISTILLED/LOW PPM water you are good

you don't want the misters on 24/7, 15 on 15 off will alow them to both braethe and drink, this will also heat up the res water to a warm loving temp clones love, watch your ph, check it twice a day, you can't fail bro try my method see if it works, pleeeeeeeeease


oh oh, and if you are worried about the high res temps you will see 70-80F just put in some hygrozyme along with it, hygrozyme doesn't affect your ppm much but it protects against bad things that like to form in warmer res's...trust...you've seen my aero Sour Disel journal i started yah? those are my clones i started from this method

I am using a little 26w CFL over them now. I packed up the aero thing. If these root then fine but I don't feel like fooling with them anymore; it's more of a pia than it's worth for 3 little maybe-so's. If they make it that's great. My wife has been snooping around and might have discovered my grow op. She doesn't know anything about it and would freak out if she did. I have to even find a new home for my 4 plants in flower. That would suck.

are you serious, that totally sucks, i would hate to have to sneak around with mary jane, shes welcomed anytime in my establishment, good luck with the wife bro. Hope you succeed, im staying up on your grow, good job so far....

ok, bobby i got pics for you, and i have Island Sweet Skunk going right now, I have some SourDiesel that i have nursed back from death and just took 5 clones off, and some White Widow that was grown from seed and is just now ready to clone off and sex the clones to see what i got, i do belive i have one male and one female out of the 2 seeds, just because one of the WW is all short and indica and the other is all tall and stretchy very un-indica.

so back to the pics this 1st one is of how i mean by cutting back for lollipopping and for cutting out for bushing.


these next ones are of the same clones i took pics of last week, with a pic of the tray i use so potpimp can go get one and start growing clones!!! lol (the 5 clones in the middle of the tray are the SD i took)

you asked about purple stems in the clones, no purple stems here



and the pic of the kind of tray i use, didnt look like the best when i got it but it works great under all kinds of lights, i've had this under 600, a 400 and now floros and it works fine.

ok i see what you mean by lollipopping, but its not close up view so i do have a quick question....

you basically cut off all fan leaves and extended branches that are on branches of the main stem?

you leave on the little growth at the top of the branches?

you prune all this back at what time? Veg? End of veg? Start of Flower?
