Hi people. I have never tried to grow marijuana befor i am just growing one plant right now it just sprouted yeterday. i have a few questions i would like to ask everyone.

Will like a regular light work for growing it?
is the srout suposed to be kinda curly?
is it bad that i like to look and touch the soil and plant sometimes?

first you should check out the other forums or threads here about General Growing, it has all the basic information to grow a plant. light, soil, temp, etc.. that's where i'd start.

Plant more than one... It is not for sure it will be a girl.... Plus you will get a better yield...

no a regular light will not work have to have cfls. the soil is fine to touch but dnt keep touching the plant might do something wrong and snap its broke u knw. lol go check out my set up somethings need to be changed like the foil needs to go to either white paint of mylar. Blazedklownz'grow

A reg. bulb (incandescant) won't work.. you need CFL's minimum...to veg get 2 X 26W cfl ($9)... 1 Y splitter, ($3)..and an old lamp to make light.. sprouts are curly.. get some potting soil (not cheap) look for perlite mixed in.. plant seed about 3/8" deep.. Me I always touch and talk to plants. I think they like it... Put light as close to plant as possible about 1 - 1.5"..get a fan to strengthen stem... luck

Taker it slow and READ READ READ...daily. Then youl realize hey I know the answer before you even ask it...this site will teach you all that relevant info and learn ya right...

Read first ask questions when you cant find literature to read...thats my motto.

I suggest reading the growfaqs and reading thru Newb central like 5 times then youll know this little plant you got most likely will be your first failure and learning experiance...then youll know where to go from there.

ok well idk i heard u could grow with regular lights untill u need to flower the plant other then that this is the first plant i ever got to sprout
