If you want both to run full speed then hook them parallel
if you want both to go half speed then hook them series. Parallel connections all + wires on fans connect to the + of the power supply do the same with the neg wires. Series connections from the + of power supply to the + of fan one from the - of fan 1 to the + of fan 2 from the - of fan 2 to the - of the power supply Do the above if its dc ac does the same you just don't have the + - to deal with. If you run the fans 1/2 speed they will run hotter and will not last as long I hope this help's

yes it does, my buddy said it would split the amps or something? is volts the only deciding power in the fans strength? also i have 2 light sockets in my cab with 2 65 watt cpf, can i wire them both in parallel to one plug? im trying to eliminatesome of the wiring if i can

damn hot avater, i understand that, i am now wondering if the same thing will work for the light sockets, minus the transformer, also what part does amps play in fan spead, I have three transformers and all are different volts and amps, i am trying to find the perfect combo to maximize output and minimize sound.

Beaner now your asking har questions.
So to give a good answer I need to know what type of fan you have. Part numbers are better for me. I look up the prints. You need to use ohm's law v=i/r i=v/r r=v/i I'm old school so i is amps I don't know the numbers of the fans so I'll use numbers from the air. Your fan at 24vdc@.5 amp then is balanced. Runs smooth and last it's lifetime. If your fan 12vdc will be 1 amp because the resistance stayed the same. You can't change that. It's the windings of the fan. The fan try's to stay balanced so it uses the same power. Now the pressure is 1/2 24 - 12 = 12vdc and runs half speed. Because it has to make up for power to run it uses 2 times the current. And that is more heat in the windings of the fan ( The resistance ). Heat is what burns up most electrical devices and I don't mean that in a smart ass way. Most heat is generated when we turn things on. The surge. Turning things on and of quick is very effecive killer. I hope this help's
