I heard that you can use those energy saver bright lights to grow. Is this true? If it is it would for sure be a cheaper way to get things done. My friend grew a really successful plant with these lights. Has anyone heard anything?

yes youcan. you just need alot of them. i am using a 150w 79000 lume vfl on mygrow. myplants are doing good. on is startingto auto flower. i still need to get my flower chamber built. will proble use cfl's to flower too. have an idea on getting lots of light to my flowering plant
