hi guys firstly thanks to everyone who contributes to the forumn hopefull i have read enuff to start a sucessfull grow. I am 1 week in and have germinated 4 northern lights seeds. i have just put them under my 250watt mh bulb. the plants are about 2 inches tall now and have them about 12 inches away from my light. i have ph'd my water to around 6.8 and my temps are around 75 at night and 80 in the day. hows this all sound all plants r looking pretty healthy so far any suggestions ? when do i start my nutes ? 2-3 wks ?

It sounds like your doing just fine, and that you have a handle on what you are doing. I predict a bountyful harvest in your future!

When I was vegging this last run, I was using a 400w metal hallide and I had it as close as 8in. away from the tops of my girl.... I would lower it an inch every day as close as you can....

tighter nodes= bigger buds

and when do i add nutes ? i heard to use like a quater strengh mix ? is this for the whole grow ?

Hey, man, it is time to start some mild nutes, but how much depends on the size of your resovouir tank. Can you explain the system? Drip, Bubbble, Flow and ebb or what? do you have airstones?

i have no idea what airstones are? i have an old fish tank with a bubbling thing i may stick that in the resevoir to give it some 02
