Hey, so i wanted to get some lights for clones, what do you all think is the best. I am hoping for something economical.

Metal Halide. The wattage will depend on your setup. I use a 400W MH and it's 4 feet above the tray, covering about 4 square feet of space.

Im recently got a 250W Mh I want to know if its safe to have my clones two feet from the light?

man all you need for clones is some floros! use the hid for veg and bloom. t5's work great for cloning and vegging

I have a 600w for my flower / veg and 250w for my mother and clones. Should I move the clones to there own seperate space and get flor for them? IS the 250 going to hurt the clones.

I have had my clones under hid and I swear it takes longer for them to clone than floros, but if you already have it and dont want to spend more loot, 250 will do it just dont put it to close at least a 2', maybe 3' would be better. plus i dont know your layout either so dont know if heat will be an issue for your clones either.
