so i am starting a Sea of Green grow once again. i drove to San Fransisco today and got some GDP clones (40). they look great! i will be getting the clones into a medium in the morning and updating this journal every 24 hours until harvest!

but before i get started i want to know what type of medium you guys would like me to use..

(1) 6" rockwool cubes in 4x4 ebb and flow tray
(2) 6" pots with rockwool mini cubes in 4x4 ebb and flow tray
(3) 6" pots with Fox Farm Ocean Forest (My Fav, So Tasty)

..this will be under an air cooled magnetic 1000w HPS..
..or if everyone wants i will use 2x air cooled digital 600w HPS

Nice i'll be following your grow, ii'll be starting a new SOG grow next week with some PPP. I would say go with the soil, but that's just cause i'm biased.

If I had 40 clones, I'd get 2 600 watters. Seems to me like 20 plants to each 600 watter would be better than trying to squeeze all 40 under 1 1000w light. The extra 200 watts couldn't hurt your ladies either.

If you were to go for the 1000 watter, I might suggest maybe moving the light around periodically to get light coverage to all plants. I've only grown outdoors though, so that's only a suggestion. Much love from SoCal my friend, just took a rip of Purple Kush for you and your ladies...

thnx. the reason i am growing Sea of Green is to get as many plants as possible under a light.. im going to throw these clones into flowering as soon as they get comfortable in the pots (2-5 days). on my last 2 grows i ran a 600w with 28 clones and they did great! i ended up with just under a 1/2 lb with no veg time!

Nice, 1/2 pound with no veg time on a 600 watter, good shit. Looks like you got at least a pound waiting somewhere in your near future.

heeerrreee we go. i got 36 of them under a 1000w MH until they get comfortable then ill throw the 1000w HPS in the cool tube for a whole bunch of 12/12 action...

let me know what you guys think.. ill be posting my nutrient calendar on here soon..
