Al sorry to hijack your thread, I have been reading your posts, like the SOG 2 week stuff. I live in Perth (please. dont laugh.) ? Seeds, only seeds avail locally are crud, do you know if I order from a good seed bank (Canada say) will they be delivered. Finding a somewhere here would be better, I have only ever grown crud as the seeds you use ............. Any help? Sorry again.

do some searching there are some posts on here about seedbanks, and yes they will get delivered.

A thermostat is just a switch. It needs to be in the power lead of the device you want to control.

The first thing you need is a thermostat that will do the day/night temp control you want. When you're shopping you'll need to be sure it can switch the amount of current required by the heater and/or aircon unit. Start by phoning up your local HVAC trade supply house.

A thermostat is merely a switch.



It is installed in the LINE or HOT lead to the fan. The COM & NC labels are provided for users of the Qt7200 thermostat, but any thermostat with contacts rated to switch line voltage (120V or 240V depending on your location) at a couple amps will do.
