I recently talked to an old buddy of mine who said he has been reading that some growers have experienced better buds with MH in flower vs HPS. Supposedly, from what I gathered, HPS creates more budsites than the HPS, but the buds produced by the MH light are of far better quality! Does anyone know anything on this subject? I won't be starting my own grow for a bit. I am going to try just HPS, then HPS for the first 4 weeks for more bud sites followed by 4 weeks (or so) of MH light to see if the buds are better. What do you think?

if you are doing a changeover routine, use the MH the first 2 and the last 2 weeks.
