Any tips advise on shed growing uk

ello every1,

can you help got a shed in the garden in the countryside, fields behind house, high fence so just one neighbour each side..shed 10x12, made of wood no windows..got elec, was gona fibre glass the walls, roof etc is there any better ways to achieve insulation to avoid the heat detection?

also want 2x 400wt lites is that gona be too much power..therefore indicating to elecy board about over usage.. or is that amount hardly noticable?

Is ventalation gona be a problem? my main concern is electricity board and heat seeking choppers.. how can i avoid this but still use a wooden shed?

also do you think in winter if the lites are off from 6pm to 6am in uk, that the plants will get too cold in a wooden shed.. are there any better ideas???

dont bother with sheds personally u are crazy if u do, not somethung i would do im also from uk.
country side gets scouted by police helicopter the most than any other place i would use 1 600w instead of 2 x400 not too noticed on electric bill ive been going for 2 /3 years now with a 600 w if u do use the shed kingspan the walls and ceiling get good ventilation in and out of the shed buy fans /4inch should be fine/ to do this.
ideal the outlet fan should not go direct to the garden
into a room with a window open would be better
buy using a shed u introduce noise from fans u need all factors of growing good for a good end product think again about shed if i was u ideal time for use is to run through the night 6pm to 6am due to the cold nites ideal temp for room is around 27 happy to advice more if u need it

i also have my crops in my wooden shed, under 1 1000 watt HPS, and where i live in the winter it gets well below 0 degrees F, all the way to 30 below 0 sometimes. what i do as far as the cold goes without having to put up insulation(shed is kinda big, too exspensive around here anyway).
1: pile up snow with shovel on all outside walls as far up and as built up as you can.
2: get old blankets, plastic or whatever you can find and nail on as many inside walls as you can
3: make a room inside shed if you can with plastic or blankets or anything you can find, it helps.
4: use little space heater in there when you cut the lights off if you find it cold, leave it on for an hour or more, just keep checking temps.
5: if not already have one for sure have a thermometer.

this is what i do to ensure my crops are as warm as possible in the winter. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions send me mesage, i would be more then happy to help you out further with you shed growing questions.
