Hey, im thinkin about growing inside instead of outside. Im kinda fearing people seeing my plants outside, since theres really no place to hide them in my small back yard.
So im thinking about converting my closet into a little grow room.
Im not really good with lights and everything and i was wondering if anyone knows about an ideal setup for 2 small plants. about 4`-5 inches high.
Where could i find these flouresent lights at?(stores).
And 1 more question..are flouresents the only kind of lights i can grow with?

flourecent lights you can get at regular stores like wal marts grocery stores even but really a better light is a metal halide light u can get at specialty stores like places u would get water pipes and so forth these lights are a little more expencive but worth it

i think you guys are the only ones to answer that properly. you need to read the FAQ as mogie suggests and then based on your budget and grow capacity, choose the light that will fit you.

hey man, I had the same question, than i got down to business, I have 17 plants in a 4 ft by 2ft closet right now, you can seriously go to home depot or lowes home improvement stores and buy bright white compact flourecents that screw in to normal reflector ballasts.. Now the bright white flourecents are rather cheap and def the way to go if you dont want to spend a butt load of money and want something simple for growing, you can get bright white flourecent bulbs for $8. or less just get the big ones, they look like regular screw in bulbs but look like bendy straws, a little advice though dont buy the deluxe versions they dont put out much lumens. you may want to buy a couple of flourecents to makke sure they get enough light, make sure they have a good output of lumens, they should look bluish white when lit, you can find plug in ballasts with reflectors for under $9. in the electrical section of home depot or lowes, you can hang your ballasts from the closet rods, again just take a trip to a home improvement store and get your babys their needs without spending out the pocket. for flowering your gonna need some flourecents that are on the red and orange light spectrum.
