Default MH Problem - Help!
Hey Guys -

What MH bulb is better for cannabis...

Sunmaster MH 1000 watt CDX (6000Kelvins) (80000 lumens)
OR
SolarMax 1000 watt MH (7200Kelvins) (100000 lumens)

Ive been told that 6000 is better, but the 7200 has more blue in it... However, I have 30-36 plants in in 12L MaxiPots (10 inches width) under a 1000 watt MH, and dont want them to become damb bushy(growing sideways and such), since room is factor, however once again, I dont want them thin and stretchy...

What would you reccommend my fellow growers... Thanks

Welcome to the forum. You asked for opinions, well....ok, I have to ask myself why? More blue, more lumens. Is this a trick question? A 1000 watt light will cover that area. If it were me, I would probably not choose either of these. The lumens, seems to be less than a 600 watt light. Or am I really missing something here. You would probably be better off getting 2-600 watt lights for that kind of an area, it would give you more flexability later on.
I'm really curious and probably should have looked at all the threads you have started. Why do you have seedling in 10" pots. Soil grow? What is your plan? If you are going to get lights big enough to veg 36 plants are you going to just switch them to flower in the same area? Do you have a plan for cloning and mothers? As Garden would say, Pic's might help. VV

forget about the color difference and take the bulb with the most lumens.

more lumens in the wrong spectrum is that a bad thing? you want more blue to stay short and compact
