Hey everybody. I was just wondering Im using a 1000w hps system right now with a solarmax 1 bulb(600whps and 400wmh) I was wondering if i should use this bulb for the whole process or if i should Switch back to the 1000w hps bulb for flowering? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats what i was thinking but ive been getting some mixed replies from other folks. i thought just using the 1000w hps would be better for flowering because i really dont need it to grow much more after i start to flower. I know it will grow alot anyways when i start to flower.

I read it was best to have both lights from start to finish

i've never read that nor heard of it except to supplament more light when your lacking

it means u can use both to do both but each has there "job" mh is best for veg and hps is best for flower now u can use both but i don't think its better too.....

I am using both and am wondering if that is why the are taking so long to finish.. Its like there still growing

might have some play on it but as long as your in 12/12 it should be all good.
the only diff other then spectrum is a mh will take longer to flower so if your using both may add a few days to the grow. far as still growing they do till ya chop em
