A friend of mine tried "legal bud" once. He got like 4 different kinds in some kind of a bundle deal (a couple ounce or so total) if I recall.

He said it looked and smelled like real weed, even thought it tasted kinda good on its own merits (but did not taste like real marijuana), but all it gave him was a headache if he smoked too much.

If you just enjoy smoking, give it a try maybe...but if you are hoping to get high - FORGET IT.

If you are looking for something you can buy legally, then Salvia Divinorum really does get you stoned. In fact you completely lose track of reality smoking that stuff...but it's a totally disorienting and not always pleasant experience (totally different from marijuana or any other drug I've tried). Salvia extract trips me out more than LSD, but it doesn't last very long (20-30 min). If you try Salvia, make sure you are in a really good mood when you do and be in a quiet safe place. It's a good idea to have a sitter with this stuff too, because you will literally be in another world inside your own mind for 5-10 minutes while you are peaking...

Also, morning glory seeds and hawaiian baby woodrose seeds really work, but they are also more like an LSD experience.

All of the above substances are legal to buy, but they are labeled "not for human consumption". Furthermore, extracting the psychoactive substance (LSA) from the baby woodrose and morning glory seeds is illegal.
