Quick question.

When flushing plants (ie 2-3 x size of the pot) does the water need to pHed?

I would say no since I plan on flushing and harvesting about a week after that.

This leads me to another question.

Would it be beneficial to force nute lock out a week or so before harvest so the plant will use up all the available nutrients it has stored in itself? Therefore causing it to suck up all the nutes stored in the leaves and leaving a smooth clean smoke.

Any opinions on this?

Id personally flush with ph water in case you need a little extra grow time the ph doesnt hurt the plant.And I think I wouldnt intentionally lock the plant as if its locked it wont take up the flush water and could keep extra nutes in the plants since it cant flush. Just my though I have never done either of those 2 things

lock up is lock up. it doesnt lock up somethings and not others and.... it stresses the plant. even being late i think any stress is going to change the smoke more then ph or nutes, well maybe not more then nutes. i hate nutey bud.
