I am setting up a hydro grow with a drip system. I will have a 600W HPS light over each 3x3’ table. My environment should be next to perfect with C02 generator and AC. I am going to have to finish my plants at about 20” tall. With this kind of a setup can I expect .5 – 1 gram per watt? Or will I get less because my plants are so short?

your answer is like asking "how much money will i make if i play poker at a casino?"

there are just so many factors, strain, your ability to grow, the method you are using to grow, it's hard to say

You can't reach top yield with that setup you plan. 600w would work best over a 4x4 table but to get max yield per watt you'd have to run sea of green with numerous tiny single cola plants and that's risky because of the sheer numbers of plants you could face being caught with. They'd have to finsh smaller than 20" to fit many of them in that space.


A 3x3 table would barely fit four 20" plants and they could still be overcrowded if they bush out at all, depends on strain and how you train them.

You'll see them run through a full cycle a couple times with several rooms and with specific known strains, days/weeks/final yield/veg time/flower time, and every other detail about the grow.
