so i'm thinking of ordering a grow tent. dimensions are 20x36x64 inches. idk i'd imagine i'd use a maybe an hps. just wanted to know if i could produce a pound or two in this space. and what would be a good rule of thumb for how many plants in a space for flowering (1 psf i heard) sorry feel like a newb asking these questions, just got alot of pain and i need alot of medicine. thanks

It depend on the light.. but in that space a 250w hps will give you about 50w/sq ft and that shoudl work well. You could go up to 400w but at over 75w per sq ft thats a waste.

from a 250 you should shoot for 165-250 grams per harvest thats .66-1.0 g/w. Thats about 6-9 oz per harvest..
