So I made a quick set up in my closet, just for shits and giggles to see how it would do. I am going to be building a nice set up, soon in my attic " Any Suggestions?"
I was wondering if it will grow right, and just do what it is suppose to do?
I have one plant 3 1/2" tall. I have two 100 watt lights about 3-4 inches away from it, a fan on high, and a thermometer in there. The lights are just regular lamp lights, GE Extra Soft White, 100 Watt each, Light Output: 1585 Lumens. I dont know if this will work for just this one time, so I figured I'd turn to you all here on this wonderful website!!!
I dont have a picture of the set up but if you need one let me know and i'll take one.
The temp is usually around 85-89 Never seen it hit 90 once it gets near 90 it drops.

get two more light fixtures and four compact fluorescent lights(cfl) of the highest wattage you can get and then use those four instead of the two ge lightbulbs. you won;t get much bud at all from them.

get as large as you can find/afford but at least the 42 actual watt size (not the "equivalent" watts they're advertised by).

cfl's are advertised based on the light they send out compared to an incandescent bulb (the kind you have now). so you buy a cfl bulb that only uses 42 watts of energy but it's called a 100 watt equivalent bulb.

Like probably 150 or 200 if I can find them?

But will it say the actual watt size on the box? Im guessing it will, but I just want to make sure.

anyway, i keep quoting actual watts because that's what everyone on this site uses. people in the real world use the equivalent watts. if you go to a store and ask for a 100 watt cfl bulb you will get a 42 actual watt bulb. get it?

that said, get as large as you can find, place them on all four sides of the plant, and it should grow fine. four 42 actual watt bulbs will be enough.
