I got 3 Q's . First one , if I am growing in a closet ( no outlet ) can I wire my closet light socket to be my outlet ( or is that not safe ).




2. What carbon filter should I use in a 3 plant 430 watt setup in a closet?

3 .Also what timers do you guys use , the regular square white ones look kinda cheap , would they be ok for my 430 hps.

1. its safe as long as you don;t overload the circuit the light is on. lighs are typically on a 15 amp circuit (the smallest) so you may have problems. your grow light alone is 4 amps. hook up everything you have and see if the breaker trips or go around and count up the amperage of everything on the same circuit.

2, dk, but you;ll need one, depends on other things like how you want to vent your room, which you will have to do to control the heat of a 430

3. not the ones you get at a home depot. almost ruined my crop when a cheapo failed during flower and left the light on. got a better one, though looked very similar, from hydro shop and haven.et had probs. plants in dark right now so i can;t get brand info.
