Default Digital vs. Magnetic Ballasts, Any Comments?

I'm still considering what type of ballast to get and would like to know what the community at large has to say about it. Is it worth the extra money? Is the digital technology reliable? Do they really burn bulbs brighter?

digi for sure. i feel they are way better, cheeper to run quieter. more efficient.
hell they even look better.lol

But you can get some great deals on mag ballasted lights too, and they work fine, and are generally more robust and longer lasting. It depends on what you want to invest and how many lights you're going to run.

I keep going back to mag ballasted lights because they are always on craigslist used for next to nothing or ebay for less than half to a third the price of a good digital. Do not buy a cheap digital, they don't last.

ya i have an old timer mag one and only paid 30 bucks for it
