hey what bulb would be better for flowering 3 plants. i cant use anything higher than 250 and what bulb produces the least heat and what would have a better yield....or are they pretty much the same??? and how do you guys hang you lights do you screw them into your ceilings or what????

Lighting applications....For vegetative growth Metal Halide fixtures...For flowering state high pressure sodium lighting.

depends on how long you veg.....get them 18-24 or more inches tall before you flower you shouldnt have any trouble getting an ounce a plant...at least I dont

you could get more then an ounce a plant VERY easy with your lights. I budded my plants at 10 inches under cfls and they still budded over an ounce with only the main cola being a beauty. It sounds like your Fixture can take either bulb so he is right go MH then HPS you could even put some cfls on the sides for added light angels. im guessing you could get over two ounces per if you did it right.

thxs man but how do you plug the lights in??? i haven't bought it yet waiting a while because my seeds will be hear any day now( white widow ) and just wanna know if the plug into any plug in the house thxs

you need a ballast to support the HPS or MH because they are High Intensity and they need a ballast to convert to the proper energy level. so , don't just buy the bulb alone, it wont just fit into a regular household socket. actually it might, but you'll burn your home down. so get the ballast, bulb, and I highly recommend getting a reflector all at once.

yah i know they need a ballast i just wanted to know is when you get a ballast goes it plug into any plug in your house. just like any lamp or tv would??

i hope my 3 plants will work under 250 because its all i cant get only 250 hopefully everything goes well
