How many of these lights (see link) would I need for one plant? If im seeing it correctly it says it puts out 1200 lumens. wouldn't that be enough? also, what could I plug it into that can go in a closet?

You can get this bulb at Home Depot for 10 dollars..
Keeo it very close to your plant. Less than 1 inch...

1200 lumens is not enough.. these CFLs are 2600 lumens.. you should get 4 of them.. and a timer..

...when your plant is 10 inches tall.. give your plants 12 hours of uninterupted darkness (no LIGHT).. set you timer for 12 hours on and 12 hours off.. THIS will force your plant to FLOWER.. and make BUDS..

And if you want to double your yield and put a 400 watt HPS to SHAME..

You can get a couple of these. Take off the metal shade and screw in a BULB splitter.. Then you can have two lights per fixture..

okay thanks, i got the lighting taking care of now. now i just need am electrical socket. how would I go about installing one? im not sure if all the wire are there to though.

If you bought the socket that he linked to then you just plug it in the wall. You could tear apart a lamp too and hang it by the cord. Anything with a cord and socket should be easily rigged to work.
