What's wrong with these clones? I am using Powerclone cloning solution they are 7 days old, out of the 30 there are 8 developing roots. changed out cloning solution and added 5 drops of Super Thrive today any ideas and how to offset it?

Ummm...you have WAY too much leaf matter on those clones. They can't support all that leaf area. It also looks like you just have some fan leaves in there....not real clones. I don't like to change out the res when cloning...just add fresh water. You need to do a good bit of chopin on those full sized fan leaves...cut em in half.

Indeed it does appear you have some actual fan leaves you are trying to clone, the leaves will not clone, must have stem and at least 1 node to clone. You don't HAVE to cut the leaves with scissors in half now, its just going to cause stress. They will yellow more, wilt and fall off in time. give it all another week, no need to change water if you are getting good aeration in the res.

Also about a week before you clone your mother you should stop feeding her nutes and let her use up the stored nutrients in her leaves and just before you began spray her down with water. This way when you make your clipping they will not use stored energy in their leaves to grow new vegitation, instead of developing a root system. Also clipp off those big leaves they take energy that could be used to develop the root system instead of trying to make more leaves. I would do some recloning making sure their healthy from the start or they will always be behind. Good Luck.

Cutting the leaves will only help...right now they are trying to hard...need to decrease transpiration.
