I grow in promix HP, its pretty neutral so I use hydro nutes.

Iv been using 2l pop bottles, fill them up with tap water 2 days before I use them so all the chlorine and what not evaporates. This has been working fantastic for me because I dont have to waste a lot of nute solution because when it sits in the bottles it grows algae and rapes all the oxygen.

I understand that Light is required for algae growth, so My big question is how long is it safe to keep mixed nutrient solution in a air tight/ light proof container before it will lose too much oxygen or grow algae or any other unwanted effects? Im using liquid nutes so mixing isnt a problem.

I just need to know how often I should be cleaning and remixing water and nutes in my reservoir?
