Hey i've just read a bit on aero/bubble cloning i only need to root 3 clones every so often so i figued seen i don't have much money i could make a quick cloner out of what i have lying around the house.. I used a small black container, 1/2 inch aquarium tube, air stone and pump from aquarium. i cut 3 holes in the lid and placed a peice of 1/2 inch hose about 1 inch and a 1/4 under the cover and about 1/2 inch over. the hose has a few rings of tape to keep it from sliding down into the cover. then i made a hole in the top for the hose with the stone to go into and then taped it all up so no light can enter. i wanted to know would this system work to root 3 clones every so often? ( the container is about 2 and 1/2 inches tall without the cover) i didn't see much use to go buy $30.00 worth of material in order to root 3 clones and it not be used for 1 or 2 month's after.

not quite sure what you mean exactly but if its what im thinking youll be good y the hose tho? take the lid put a snug fitting hole for the airline connect with the stone inside and just cut 3 1 inch holesin the lid and get some foam (pool noodles are cheap and one will last for ages) cut to fit snug and put your cutting and foam in the hole you can then check roots and change water by taking off the lid if you have 2 lying around you can do a change and check in the time it takes to fill with water basically give 7-10 dayus n u should have some nice roots my first cloner was an old takeaway tray and lid fuck the prices for cloners happy growin lad

It would probably work, but I would get the little 50 watt aquarium heater they have at walmart.

it's not big enough to put in a heater but it can have a heater under it if that would work.

heater isnt nessasry if you want 1 tho go and buy the heated mats you get for reptiles

Why would you want a heater? i heard you dont want your nute temps over 24 degree's or the nutes solidifiy and your plants cant uptake solids, otherwise known as nutrient lockout plus the rise in temps envite bad bacteria my res sits 20.

not for nutes for the cloner roots grow towards warmth or water if in water its the warmth they want it isnt nessasary tho the temp it sits at should be fine unless its frozen or summat
