When to harvest

Ok first off I am using a mini cab to grow my bud in... ok now Im a begginer at all this so the first few times I messed up. Now finally I have healthly strong tall plants, only problem is their growing larger then my chamber and starting to die at the tops...I dont have any choice but to cut the plants that are outgrowing,

PLANTS OVERGROWN GROW CHAMBER!!!
I need to know when the plant is ready to harvest so I can get it before it dies, they are already starting to turn yellow, check the pics ( please note the pics are like about week 6 or something, they are way bigger now..imagine this 8x's larger) I dont know what is going on or how long the cyclye is supposed to last I have been growing these plants for about 5 months they have small seed size sprouts growing up the stem but it hasent got bigger then a seed size.. is this normal in hydrophonics chamber growth? Is their anyone with a growchamber who has completed the process from start to finish with pics, Im starting to think I got the wrong chamber .. Maybe I need a bigger one

any help would be good

Are you topping or completely removing the plants?? You can top them until the buds are done (although not the best thing for the plants it will get you through this harvest). You want to harvest the buds when 1/2 to 2/3 of the white hairs turn red/orange. Or when the crystal heads are full and milky white. If you wait until the crystal heads are amber, you've waited too long. For your next grow look into doing this, it's perfect for very small grow areas.

That one on the right looks pretty stretched, meaning it wasn't close enough to the light in the first place.

You can avoid late topping when you're already flowering by bending the plants over, tying them to something low. It looks like you have enough lateral space to do this.

Yeah i most definatly have try that on the next batch.. man these plants are all the way at the top of the grow chamber its way past the sodium lamp.. and some plants that are touching the lamp are dying.. maybe because its too close too the light or the heat from the lamp is killing them ..basically 5 mths waisted, most of the small ones are dead because the big ones blocked the light...

So if I start topping , this needs to be done around when the plant is 1/2 inches?

I'll post updated pics to show the bad results.

no, you can top much later than that, and you can still pull them down if you're less than several weeks into flower.
