I used an external pump from my last hydroponic build (a failure, long story) to convert an Emily's garden, a wick system, to a drip system. I used 4" rockwool blocks set in hydroton to give it stability while making the whole thing extremely compact and low to the ground, something I needed to allow for good air flow to keep the nutrient solution cool... I'm going to pain the top white to as well. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm also a bit unsure about how many times a day to turn on the drip emitters, never dealt with this kind of hydroponics before, especially growing in large rockwool blocks. Oh and whats the best kind of drip emitter for this? The pump is a bit over powered, 250gph... Thanks for the help guys...
