I built on and the details were a bitch. I mean like leaks. I got them all solved and ran the device good. Very easy. Then i read The device has problems. The roots will gorw into the tubes and water pumps will have a hard time pushing the water up. I read that somewhere. Screens will help. You cant move the plants but if they are clones so i guess you wont have too.
I only have a 400 and i thought if i had a square i could get better use so bought a table instead. A 3x3 flood table. Before that I diy one with a 6 dollar hd mortar mixing tray and an 18 gallon rubbermaid. Worked good. Used ebay ebb and flo fixtures.
I am fine so far with ebb and flow table but i have the contraption in the closet still. Nifty idea, lol, i saw it on another sight with a whole room done in them but the poster got the advice i just gave you from some one else and switched to ebb tables as being simpler and effective. Everyone loves the ebb table.
