net pot placement?

ok, I have kind of a random question, which may or may not matter. I use an aeroponic system with 3" net pots. In past grows I have started from seed and have had great results. Now that I am using clones I'm wondering where and how you place your clones into your net pots?

The clones I just used were very healthy with roots EVERYWHERE. I place them into the bottom of the net pot usually with some roots hanging out already. Then I cover the top and sides with good ol' hydroton. I never use those damn cocotec liners anymore. They are expensive and seemingly worthless.

I think when I used to clone I started towards the middle or top of the net pot. Anyone else have a preference for a reason? Does it not matter at all and I'm paranoid?

When I've set up aeroponic pots, I fill the net pot half-way with growrocks, and put the 1.5 inch rockwool cube on the rocks, and then fill rocks around the cube, packed tight, and then covering the top of the cube.

You want a lot of roots growing out the sides of the netpots as well as the bottom, so that will anchor your plant when it's heavy with buds.

yes, I think thats how I used to do it. Your method has several advantages I am beginning to remember. Ugg, I just planted 6 and they only have one layer of pebbles under them if any. Might try to take them out and redo it. thanks for input.

like your sig. should use a light mover on the orange for better sun simulation.

right now i'm using a painting I found in the garage, which has many brite colours. It is for the side liting so i has many buds on tha sides and bottoms.

anticipated yield ---------------> 31.94 pounds.

p.s. yesterday i sprouted to seeds. What is a soil?

you should also consider a hologram with both the moon and the sun. although 31.94 pounds sounds like you already know what your doing.

earl places plugs in the bottom, anyone noticed? personally i would say we can all look up to him as a good example

This is pretty much the same as I do. I use those clay balls instead of rocks.

yeh u bet i know what im doing. Lets see today I put mice and Beatles in my soils for added aeration. tomrrow on tha list is upgraded my painting to holograms as per john q's request.

Yay its payday today so i can order a set of 5 RED led lites to power my grows. Its red da one i needs rite?

johnq, think u can send me some thos clones after you germinate them? to my address 1892 east chronic rd., humbolt, cali. UPS ground should b fine.
